Below is Sarah's last newsletter from Sierra Leone. She is due to return to the UK at the end of May and will have a busy time between now and then handing over to our SL team.
So much has happened in the last few months.... There are lots of photos in the newsletter so make sure you have a look.
Our NEW
car - a dark green Toyota Hilux Surf, has made it to
Freetown. It took 4 days to get it out of the Port (no bribing required!), a
week to get registered and is already being used by the team. THANK
YOU to all who contributed time, money and effort into making this dream come
true.
Our NEW Office
and Team house - a lovely 2nd floor appartment has been
rented for our new office base, training space, equipment storage and housing
for Abu. We just about have a little water in the tank but no electricity yet.
But we're thankful that is is secure, easily accessible, has space in the
compound to keep our new car and is in a quiet part of town.
Successsful
Beach Gathering celebrating our 4th year of ~Enable the
Children~ working with disabled children and their families in Sierra Leone.
Lots of play and fun and swimming and food were enjoyed. The photos show it
all. (More photos to come)
